FlixBus is seeking a Senior Record to Report (R2R) Accountant to support general ledger accounting functions and ensure accuracy of financial data. This role is based in Mexico City with a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with finance, tax, and legal teams to maintain compliance and accuracy
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
- Support external and internal audits with documentation and explanations
- Maintain organized, up-to-date financial records
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with strong R2R/RTR background
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Fluent in English
