As a Senior R&D Reliability Technician, you will play a critical role in the research and development of Mainspring's innovative power generation systems. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic reliability engineering to support the advancement of the company's linear generator technology and related power solutions.
Key responsibilities include conducting reliability testing and analysis on prototype and production systems, identifying failure modes and root causes, implementing corrective actions, and documenting findings to improve product performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design and execute test protocols, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and provide recommendations for design improvements based on field and laboratory data.
The role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience with mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives. You will support both laboratory testing environments and field operations, ensuring data integrity and comprehensive documentation of all reliability work.
