Salary: PLN 260,400 - 352,200 / annual
Graphcore is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to build quality foundations for Kubernetes systems that power next-generation AI compute. In this role, you will validate the workload management stack for new AI accelerator hardware, ensuring that Kubernetes integrations are reliable, scalable, and production-ready.
You will design and develop automated test suites, build system and integration tests, and contribute to improving CI/CD quality practices. Your work will support how accelerators are scheduled, orchestrated, and used across distributed environments, testing systems that make complex AI compute infrastructure dependable for real users. You will also investigate and debug issues across Kubernetes, infrastructure, and application layers.
You will join the Workload Management team, working closely with software engineers, infrastructure specialists, and other QA engineers. Quality is built early in the development lifecycle here, not checked only at the end. As a senior member of the QA team, you will support less experienced engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and sharing good testing practices. The team works through open technical discussion and evidence-based decisions, and you will be encouraged to speak up on quality risks and improve test coverage.
This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days each week in the Gdańsk office. The role is hands-on and technical, suited for someone who enjoys working close to complex distributed systems and has strong technical ownership.
**Requirements:**
- Strong Python programming experience, with a focus on automation and test engineering
- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework or similar automation frameworks
- Experience testing cloud-native, containerised, or distributed systems
- Strong Linux and Kubernetes understanding, with confidence debugging across multiple system layers
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
- Ability to improve test coverage, raise quality standards, and support other QA engineers
- Legal right to work in Poland (visa sponsorship not available)
