You will join as a Senior QA Automation Developer with end-to-end ownership to build a new quality product. You will validate a variety of banking products through automation and functional testing to ensure customers have a seamless banking experience. Working directly with product teams, you will participate in application specification reviews and architectural design sessions, providing quality input. You will identify testing strategies for various features and functionalities, and develop an understanding of how to deliver high-performing software at the pace of development. The role emphasizes ownership at all levels, including configuring and monitoring apps in production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop test automation at the pace of feature development using AI tools and functional/performance test frameworks
- Utilize LLMs to create feature test plans and internal knowledge stores for streamlining AI tool usage
- Define custom AI workflows to enable developers to test new features using existing automation tests and troubleshoot issues
- Execute functional and performance tests by spinning up disposable environments to deploy microservices with different versions and configurations
- Customize, configure, patch services, and deploy infrastructure and code changes through to production
- Analyze log files and troubleshoot production issues by automating and reproducing them in non-production environments
- Collaborate with the QA platform team to create solutions for feature validations and test automation
Core technologies include Java, Selenium Webdriver, Playwright, Claude Code, TestNG, Maven, Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD, SQL, REST Assured, OkHttp, SumoLogic, Docker, Kubernetes, Gatling, and Linux.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to develop test automation in Java using Selenium/Playwright with IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse, with and without coding assistants
- Experience deploying services in various environments such as Kubernetes, using deployment tools like ArgoCD and Jenkins
- Capability to improve efficiency of existing test infrastructure using Docker, Playwright, and headless browser executions
- Familiarity with log aggregators such as SumoLogic or Kibana, and app monitoring tools such as Honeycomb or Grafana
- Passion for automating tests and delivering high-quality features in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in Agile methodology
- English language proficiency required
