Graphcore is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Product Test and Diagnosis programme, turning complex AI hardware into manufacturing-ready products. You will shape delivery across manufacturing test solutions for new product introduction (NPI), connecting silicon, board, system, lab, and characterization activities into a cohesive programme.
Your core responsibilities include anticipating technical and operational challenges before they impact manufacturing readiness, creating visibility across global teams and external partners, and driving alignment on scope, ownership, timelines, and dependencies. You will define plans, manage complex dependency networks, coordinate design-for-excellence (DfX) reviews, and keep delivery focused on measurable outcomes. Additionally, you will improve how NPI and new product development (NPD) work happens across test, lab, and characterization functions.
The Product Test and Diagnosis team operates across regions (UK, Taiwan, India, US), disciplines, and external partners. Engineers move quickly, share ownership, and connect technical detail to product delivery. Decisions are made through clear plans, visible risks, and direct communication. You will be expected to take responsibility, speak up, and help teams move with confidence.
Required qualifications include strong project and programme management skills in hardware-centric, cross-functional delivery; ability to tailor waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or other methodologies to the work at hand; experience aligning distributed technical teams around scope, ownership, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes; confidence managing complex dependency networks across engineering, operations, and manufacturing; working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent tools; and experience in semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, manufacturing test, lab, or silicon characterization programmes.
Graphcore is part of the SoftBank Group and is developing hardware, software, and systems infrastructure for next-generation AI compute. The company values transferable skills and diverse experiences; if you meet most essential criteria, you are encouraged to apply.
