Asimov is developing a mammalian synthetic biology platform to enable the design and manufacture of next-generation therapeutics. We're seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our Customer Engagement team and own end-to-end success of campaigns across our Biologics and Genetic Medicine technology stack.
This role sits at the intersection of Commercial and Operations, requiring you to align with commercial leadership on account strategy while coordinating with technical operations on program execution. You'll synthesize feedback from multiple teams to build a clear, consistent narrative for our partners, prioritizing customer experience by acting as an extension of their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Execution: Drive program delivery by tracking milestones and surfacing gating decisions to internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate cross-functionally with technical operations and CDMO/vendor partners to maintain execution alignment. Identify technical, operational, and cost risks early and communicate them clearly to initiate preventive actions. Manage relationships with CDMO and third-party vendors, coordinating international shipment logistics for biological materials. Contribute to building scalable internal program management processes and tools.
Commercial Partnership: Serve as the point of contact for program-level status, scope, and timeline, coordinating closely with the commercial lead. Own the relationship between contracted deliverables and actual delivery, flagging scope, scheduling, or cost risks proactively. Use direct execution visibility to surface expansion, renewal, or adjacent scope opportunities. Escalate issues requiring both technical and commercial judgment, framed in terms of program and relationship impact.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, business, or related field. 7+ years of program/project management experience in a Life Science service organization (CDMO, CRO) with strong understanding of cell line development and/or biologics process development. Track record of driving alignment across matrixed organizations and earning influence with cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority. Working understanding of R&D and CMC workflow within BioPharma. Effective communication skills with experience presenting program status and risks to external customers. Proficiency with structured project tracking tools and Google Workspace. Familiarity with CRM or PSA platforms.
Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent program management certification.
