Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomous maritime systems for defense applications, is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for the Mission Operations team. This role owns the financial and material execution of autonomous vessel deployments, bridging operations, supply chain, program management, and finance.
You will maintain day-to-day budget tracking, burn rate analysis, and cost forecasting for deployments and field activities. You'll monitor travel and expenses against budget, flag variances, and build cost forecasts for demonstrations to support gate reviews. You'll partner with Finance and Programs on budget development, contract deliverable tracking, and invoice alignment.
As the primary coordination point between Supply Chain, Program Management, Logistics, and field teams, you'll translate deployment schedules into material requirements and order timelines, giving Supply Chain early demand signals. You'll ensure SOW deliverables and customer commitments are reflected in equipment and field support plans, and act as the field's advocate internally, collecting requirements and driving resolution.
You'll own and improve the spares allocation model across platforms and sites, ensuring right-sized inventory positioning. You'll execute procurement of components and consumables within approval workflows and budget thresholds, track spend against budget, and flag underutilized or duplicate subscriptions. You'll maintain the deployment calendar showing committed, staged, and at-risk activities, plan travel and logistics for teams, and prepare recurring financial and readiness reports for senior leadership.
Required: 5–7 years in financial analysis, FP&A, or business operations in fast-paced environments. Demonstrated budget tracking, variance analysis, and cost forecasting experience. Strong Excel and spreadsheet modeling skills; comfort with large or imperfect data. Excellent attention to detail, organizational discipline, and ability to manage concurrent deployments. Strong written and verbal communication for presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to influence across teams without direct authority and make decisions with incomplete information. Willingness to travel 10–15% for field operations. Active U.S. security clearance required; TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility preferred.
Preferred: Bachelor's in finance, accounting, business, supply chain, or operations. Hands-on inventory, spares planning, or procurement experience. ERP or inventory management system knowledge. DoD program or defense contracting background. Military logistics, maintenance, or operations experience. Contract milestone tracking and field testing familiarity. Business intelligence or dashboarding tool proficiency. NetSuite experience.
