Abnormal AI is seeking a Senior Professional Services Consultant to lead enterprise customer migrations from legacy Secure Email Gateways (SEGs) to Abnormal's AI-powered email security platform. In this role, you will manage complex migration projects for enterprise customers, ensuring seamless transitions while minimizing disruption to business operations.
You will leverage deep expertise in enterprise mail flow architecture, email security, and cloud infrastructure to guide customers through technical migrations. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end migration projects, delivering guidance on enterprise mail flow protocols (SMTP, MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), advising on native security controls in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and troubleshooting mail flow issues post-deployment. You will also collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to refine deployment methodologies and support complex customer scenarios.
The ideal candidate brings 5-7 years of customer-facing experience managing enterprise cybersecurity SaaS deployments or migrations. You must have hands-on experience with enterprise mail flow integration, SEG decommissioning projects, and deep knowledge of email security, filtering, threat protection, and DLP. Technical proficiency in Microsoft 365 Defender for Office 365, Exchange Online Protection, Google Workspace Security, and email routing through firewalls and proxies is essential. You should also be familiar with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR, and have experience leveraging AI platforms like Glean or Claude.
You are a strong problem-solver with excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with technical stakeholders and senior customer contacts. You work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments, with a proactive, solution-driven mindset and the ability to identify risks, drive resolution, and keep stakeholders aligned on project progress.
