Anduril Industries is a defense technology company building advanced autonomous systems and weapons. You will join the Roadrunner Launch Team at Arsenal-1, Anduril's hyperscale manufacturing facility in Ashville, Ohio (south of Columbus). Roadrunner is a cutting-edge VTOL counter-UAS interceptor designed for autonomous air defense operations.
As Senior Product Quality Engineer, you will define, develop, and execute quality processes that deliver high-performance defense systems. You will drive product development and production using drawing reviews, quality planning, inspection, acceptance testing, verification, validation, and qualification of processes, parts, sub-assemblies, and the complete vehicle. You will champion the transition from new product introduction (NPI) to sustainable, high-rate manufacturing and deployment support.
Key responsibilities include: owning product risk elimination to improve reliability across the lifecycle; ensuring execution and continuous improvement of product and process requirements; leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities; analyzing product health data and establishing quality metrics; supporting the Quality Management System; developing overall quality plans (APQP-style) for projects; directing reports to deliver quality through development cycles; qualifying internal and external manufacturing processes; and matrix-leading supplier quality engineers supporting design and development.
You will work hands-on with engineering teams, be accountable for results, and have the opportunity to train under Anduril's world-class manufacturing team at HQ in Costa Mesa, CA for one month before bringing that standard of excellence to Ohio. This role requires deep knowledge of VTOL product performance, sub-system performance criteria, metrology, continuous improvement, manufacturing, product development, test/system performance criteria, and quality planning.
