Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced autonomous systems and AI-powered operating systems. The company is building Arsenal-1, a hyperscale manufacturing facility in Pickaway County, Ohio, to produce autonomous systems and weapons at unprecedented scale and speed. The Launched Effects team is responsible for manufacturing and delivering the ALTIUS family of systems (ALTIUS-600 and ALTIUS-700), premier air-launched effects platforms for the U.S. military and allies. These tube-launched, autonomous aerial systems require precision manufacturing of advanced composites, complex avionics, and modular payload integrations for ISR, electronic warfare, and kinetic strike capabilities. As Senior Product Quality Engineer, you will define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high-quality, reliable products for the ALTIUS program. You will bridge cutting-edge R&D and high-rate production, working with heads of production, program management, deployments, sourcing, and multiple engineering teams. Your responsibilities include: • Drive product development and production using drawing reviews, quality planning, inspection, acceptance testing, verification, validation, and qualification of processes, parts, sub-assemblies, and vehicles • Drive clarity and resolution for production ambiguities related to product maturity, process stability, and field performance • Champion the transition from new product introduction (NPI) to sustainable, predictable high-rate manufacturing • Own elimination of product risk to improve reliability across the product lifecycle • Ensure execution and improvement of product and process requirements • Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and inspection process performance • Lead product health data analysis and improvement activities; establish quality metrics • Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System • Develop overall quality plans (APQP-style) for various projects This position is permanently based in Ashville, OH. New hires participate in a comprehensive 3-month training program: 1 month in Santa Ana, CA, followed by approximately 2 months in Atlanta, GA. Anduril fully covers corporate housing, transportation, and travel accommodations during training.
