Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Product Quality Engineer to join the Launched Effects team at Arsenal-1, a hyperscale manufacturing facility near Columbus, Ohio. You will drive product development and production quality for the ALTIUS family of systems—tube-launched, autonomous aerial platforms used by the U.S. military and allies for ISR, electronic warfare, and kinetic strike missions.
In this role, you will bridge cutting-edge R&D and high-rate production, working cross-functionally with heads of production, program management, deployments, sourcing, and engineering teams. You will define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high-quality, reliable products while managing the transition from new product introduction (NPI) to sustainable, predictable high-rate manufacturing.
Key responsibilities include: driving product development using drawing reviews, quality planning, inspection, acceptance testing, verification, validation, and qualification of processes and parts; championing NPI-to-production transitions; owning product risk elimination to improve reliability across the lifecycle; leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities; analyzing product health data and establishing quality metrics; and supporting continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
You will leverage manufacturing knowledge, product development expertise, subsystem performance criteria, metrology skills, and leadership experience to contribute directly to Anduril's mission of transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities. The role requires deep collaboration with multiple teams to ensure production ambiguities are resolved and field performance is optimized.
Note: This position is permanently based in Ashville, OH, but requires temporary relocation for a 3-month comprehensive training program (1 month in Santa Ana, CA; 2 months in Atlanta, GA). Anduril covers all corporate housing, transportation, and travel accommodations during training.
