Mercury is a fintech platform providing banking, treasury, and financial workflow solutions for startups and technology companies. The Senior Product Operations Specialist will serve as a key operating systems architect for Mercury's product organization, designing and scaling the programs, processes, and rhythms that enable product teams to move faster and build more effectively.
Key responsibilities include owning Mercury's product launch program—designing and continuously improving the launch operating model, review processes, and retrospectives as the company scales. You'll lead the New Grad PM Rotational Program, coordinating rotations and evolving the experience for early-career product managers. You'll build and own the PM onboarding experience, ensuring new hires ramp quickly through thoughtful programming, documentation, and peer connections.
Additionally, you'll drive product culture programming by designing internal rituals, external events, and thought leadership initiatives that strengthen Mercury's product culture and scale with the organization. You'll lead complex cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, Communications, Recruiting, and People, creating clarity and maintaining momentum.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, Business Operations, Chief of Staff, Consulting, or similar cross-functional roles, ideally in high-growth technology companies supporting product or engineering organizations. You should have a track record of owning programs from concept through execution, strong systems thinking, and a bias toward continuous improvement. You approach internal operations with a product mindset—understanding user needs, measuring outcomes, iterating quickly, and improving the experience. You balance a bias toward action with sound judgment, knowing when speed matters and when quality matters in a fast-moving environment.
