Planet is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to scale the Constellation Services business, which serves government, defense, intelligence, and enterprise customers. This portfolio ranges from dedicated satellite capacity to sovereign, customer-owned constellations.
You will own product marketing strategy across the full product lifecycle, collaborating closely with Product, Space, Business Development, Revenue Marketing, and Enablement teams. Your day-to-day work involves building go-to-market strategy, developing value propositions and messaging frameworks, and creating ideal customer profiles (ICPs) that resonate with target buyers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing product marketing strategy across the lifecycle
- Creating compelling value propositions, messaging frameworks, and positioning
- Assessing and improving positioning, campaigns, and sales effectiveness through GTM collaboration
- Partnering with Product to incorporate customer and competitive insights into roadmap decisions
- Building deep expertise in the Constellation Services portfolio, including tasking, ground infrastructure, training, and roadmap
- Maintaining a library of product assets (pitch decks, battlecards, customer vignettes, graphics, collateral)
- Supporting major opportunities and regions with ABM, brand work, and targeted tactics
You bring 6-8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree. You excel at bringing customer voice into every conversation, engaging hard-to-reach buyers through modern storytelling (video, customer narratives), and creating enablement materials that empower sales teams to operate independently. You judge success by what your partners can accomplish with your work.
Standout qualifications include experience marketing technical services or infrastructure, familiarity with B2G or government programs, and a portfolio demonstrating your storytelling and content capabilities.
This is a full-time hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Arlington, VA office.
