k-ID is building infrastructure for child safety and age-appropriate compliance across gaming, social platforms, and consumer AI products in 200+ jurisdictions. The company is well-funded and selling into enterprise gaming and platform teams.
This is the first dedicated product marketing role at k-ID, positioned as a senior individual contributor with real ownership. You'll build the product marketing function from the ground up, working directly with the Head of Marketing, sales, BD, product, engineering, and in-house legal/regulatory experts.
Key responsibilities include:
Sales Enablement (primary focus): Build and maintain core selling toolkits—pitch decks, product one-pagers, use-case breakdowns, objection-handling guides, and vertical-specific narratives. Consolidate what's working in the field into shared, maintained assets. Own the enablement cadence, training the sales team on new assets, messaging, and competitive updates. Translate regulatory moments into selling motions so reps have relevant assets within days.
Competitive Intelligence: Build and run the competitive program with landscape maps and battlecards for top competitors. Stand up a win/loss loop so deal outcomes systematically feed messaging and product feedback.
Product Narrative & Markitecture: Codify the product story with markitecture diagrams, per-product messaging docs, and a use-case library mapped to persona, vertical, and regulation. Operationalize ICP and persona messaging for different buyer types (compliance counsel, trust & safety leads, product execs). Own product-level web content and support packaging/portfolio narrative.
Customer Proof: Own case studies end-to-end—identify candidates, secure approvals, interview stakeholders, and ship polished stories. Build a broader proof library of reference quotes, stats, and named-logo assets.
Launches & Demos: Stand up a repeatable launch process for meaningful releases. Produce demo assets sellers use: product demo videos, click-throughs, and guided narratives.
Success metrics (first 6–12 months): Sales runs every deal from a current, self-serve enablement library. Battlecards exist for top 5 competitors, refreshed quarterly. 3–5 published case studies with named customers and quantified outcomes. Product story is codified with markitecture and use-case library. Every meaningful product release ships through a tiered launch process. Demo videos and click-throughs exist and show up in real deals. Measurable outcomes: enablement asset usage, sales confidence, competitive win rate, and case-study pipeline influence.
Required qualifications: 5–8+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing with enterprise, sales-led motion. Proven ownership of sales enablement (battlecards, pitch decks, objection handling, win/loss programs). Ability to translate deeply technical products (SDK/API-level) into buyer-level narrative. Comfortable working directly with engineers and legal/regulatory subject-matter experts. Shipped customer case studies end-to-end. Builder profile: stood up product marketing from zero or near-zero at Series A–C company. Produce finished assets yourself. Excellent writer and presenter; comfortable working async.
