Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product development for Oscar Virtual Care (OVC), a platform that improves how members access care and how clinicians deliver it. The role spans the complete care journey—from intake and scheduling through clinical documentation, treatment, and follow-up.
Oscar uniquely combines a health plan with its own care delivery organization, enabling you to connect product decisions directly to the cost and quality of care. You'll partner with clinical, operations, engineering, design, and data science teams to identify where technology can reduce friction, improve access, support effective clinical workflows, and reduce administrative burden on care teams.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for Virtual Care, prioritizing investments based on impact to affordability, clinical outcomes, member experience, and operating efficiency. You'll lead discovery with members, clinicians, and operations teams, combining user research with data analysis to identify problems and build business cases. You'll improve the member journey from finding and accessing care through follow-up, and build tools that help clinicians deliver high-quality care efficiently—including reviewing medical history, documenting encounters, addressing care gaps, and ordering tests and treatments. You'll evaluate opportunities for AI and automation to reduce administrative work while maintaining clinical quality.
You'll define success metrics and measure clinical, financial, and operational impact of product changes. You'll lead alignment across all partner teams, bringing clear recommendations and establishing decisions that move work forward. You'll own complex initiatives from problem definition through delivery, writing clear requirements, managing dependencies and risks, and resolving cross-team issues with the autonomy expected of a Senior PM. You'll also invest in strengthening Oscar's product team by mentoring more junior team members.
The role reports to a Director of Product Management and requires 3 days per week in the New York City office (hybrid), with Thursdays as a required in-office day for team meetings and events.
