Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product development for Oscar Virtual Care (OVC). In this role, you'll own the end-to-end member and clinician experience—from intake and scheduling through clinical documentation, treatment, and follow-up.
Oscar uniquely combines a health plan with its own care delivery organization, creating a direct line between product decisions and clinical outcomes and cost. You'll partner with clinical, operations, engineering, design, and data science teams to identify where technology can improve member access to care, support clinician workflows, and reduce administrative burden.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for Virtual Care, prioritizing investments based on impact on affordability, clinical outcomes, member experience, and operating efficiency
- Leading discovery with members, clinicians, and operations teams; combining user research with data analysis to identify problems and build business cases
- Improving the member journey from finding care through visit completion and follow-up, reducing friction in intake and scheduling
- Building tools that help clinicians deliver high-quality care efficiently, including medical history review, documentation, care gap identification, and treatment ordering; evaluating AI and automation opportunities
- Defining success metrics and measuring clinical, financial, and operational impact of product changes
- Leading cross-functional alignment across clinical, operations, engineering, design, and data science; bringing clear recommendations and resolving tradeoffs
- Owning complex initiatives from problem definition through delivery, writing clear requirements, managing dependencies and risks
- Mentoring junior product team members
You will report to a Director of Product Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience collaborating cross-functionally among engineers, designers, operations experts, and others in a Product Management or Product Management-adjacent role
- 4+ years of experience driving rigorous prioritization processes
- 4+ years of experience with tech systems and understanding basic technology infrastructure such as backend services, database relationships, and SQL
- 2+ years of experience leading complex, cross-domain initiatives
- 2+ years of experience root-causing ambiguous problems, building roadmaps toward solutions, and executing against those roadmaps
BONUS: 1+ years of experience building clinician-facing experiences.
