RevenueCat is a Series C, YC-backed monetization platform used by 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, processing $16B+ in annual purchase volume. The company operates as a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries. You will be the first dedicated product hire focused on user acquisition, reporting directly to the product lead for Ads. This is a genuine zero-to-one role with significant latitude to shape both strategy and product direction. You'll explore how RevenueCat can help app developers not just monetize existing users, but acquire more of the right users in the first place. RevenueCat has existing footholds in user acquisition including Apple Ads integration and ecosystem partnerships with attribution and MMP providers. Your job is to deeply understand how app developers acquire users today, identify where RevenueCat can solve problems meaningfully better, and turn those insights into testable, shippable products. The opportunity could span attribution and measurement, products built on acquisition channels, new ways to optimize spend using downstream monetization data, partnerships, advertising infrastructure, or novel approaches. RevenueCat has unique advantages: relationships with a large developer ecosystem, deep visibility into subscription and monetization outcomes, infrastructure embedded in apps, and a growing advertising business. In the first month, you'll spend significant time with developers understanding their acquisition workflows, pain points, and evaluation criteria. You'll build deep knowledge of RevenueCat's existing products, integrations, data, and technical capabilities, and develop relationships across engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams. Within three months, you'll narrow the broad opportunity into concrete product hypotheses grounded in customer research and market understanding, form a clear recommendation on where to focus first, and begin validating through prototypes, design partnerships, and lightweight experiments. Within six months, you'll have shipped your first substantive user acquisition product bet or generated decisive evidence to change direction, with real market evidence about where RevenueCat can create differentiated value. Within twelve months, you'll have established a clear strategic direction supported by customer behavior and product evidence, shipped meaningful products or experiments, developed a credible longer-term roadmap, and become the primary IC product owner and internal domain expert for user acquisition. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience owning meaningful product or growth decisions end-to-end (title may be Product Manager, founder, growth leader, or equivalent; what matters is accountability for deciding what to build and whether it worked) - Deep, hands-on experience with mobile user acquisition: either directly managing and optimizing acquisition for mobile apps, or building products and infrastructure used by mobile acquisition teams - Understanding of how app developers actually acquire users, measure performance, and make decisions about acquisition spend - Knowledge of the modern mobile acquisition stack, including MMPs and attribution, Apple Ads, Meta and Google advertising products, conversion APIs, and related measurement infrastructure - Ability to reason clearly about attribution, performance-marketing economics, and privacy; understanding of CAC, LTV, ROAS, optimization signals, ATT, SKAdNetwork/AdAttributionKit, consent management, and how downstream behavior influences acquisition decisions - Thrives in zero-to-one environments; can take large ambiguous opportunities, identify key unanswered questions, narrow into product bets, and find pragmatic ways to test before large investments - Sufficiently technical to work closely with engineering on integrations, APIs, SDKs, data flows, identity, attribution, and other technical product decisions - Clear communication across different audiences and media, particularly in writing
