Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead dedicated cross-functional teams within the Trust & Safety, Integrity and Fraud Product team. This role focuses on ensuring a safe and trusted experience across the three-sided marketplace for Consumers, Merchants, and Couriers.
You will set the vision and long-term product strategy for either a vertical fraud team (protecting Consumers, Couriers, or Merchants) or a horizontal platform fraud team focused on building the Risk Engine, Data Signals Intelligence, and Automation/Anomaly Detection capabilities. Alternatively, you may lead compliance and authenticity efforts involving Identity Verification and Right to Work.
Key responsibilities include: preventing, detecting, and mitigating fraud and abuse by building and leveraging AI systems to address risk in real time; developing an AI-led fraud operations platform that turns complex marketplace signals into automated decisions and actionable case workflows; executing a customer-focused product roadmap through collaboration with senior leadership, Operations, Data Science, Analytics, Design, and Engineering; translating customer and internal-user needs into clear functional and technical requirements backed by data analysis; guiding data analysis and engineering teams to define scope and prioritize projects; building long-term instrumentation and monitoring capabilities; establishing business cases and ROI projections; and partnering with Finance and Business Leaders to manage profitability impact.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of owning complex, cross-functional products in ambiguous problem spaces; demonstrated experience defining strategic vision and roadmap execution; proven shipping of AI-enabled or automation-heavy products with sound judgment about model deployment and human oversight; experience in technology, fraud, privacy, security, data governance, or trust & safety; strong ability to translate policy, legal, or regulatory requirements into practical product solutions; fluency in modern AI product development including model evaluation and human-in-the-loop design; extreme customer centricity; analytical approach to ambiguity and risk; experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, Public Policy, Security, Privacy, Operations, Data Science, Design, and Engineering; interest in applying AI and data-driven systems to fraud prevention with sound safeguards; excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; and direct experience applying AI/ML to prevent and detect harm with AI fluency.
