CoMind is developing non-invasive neuromonitoring technology to advance clinical brain monitoring and improve diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders.
As Senior Product Manager, Software Delivery, you will bridge the gap between product ideas and engineering execution. You own the "what" — defining problems, scope, and acceptance criteria for every software request. Working alongside a Project Manager who handles sprint mechanics and day-to-day delivery, you will advocate for how requests should be sequenced and prioritized, ensuring priority decisions reflect genuine business needs rather than queue order.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating raw ideas and asks from stakeholders into formal, engineering-ready tickets with clear problem statements, scope, acceptance criteria, and relevant regulatory or clinical context
- Owning and prioritizing the software ticket pipeline in Jira through intake, triage, and grooming to ensure the backlog reflects current priority
- Managing the idea-to-documentation handoff with the software team, ensuring all work reaching engineering has necessary context, requirements, and supporting documentation in Confluence, with decisions captured rather than lost in side channels
- Partnering with the Project Manager to advocate for work sequencing and timing that reflects genuine priority
- Maintaining the software pipeline information in appropriate systems (Jira for delivery, Confluence for documentation) rather than in slide decks or informal channels, and helping scale this operating model as the team grows
The role is based at CoMind's Kings Cross offices in London, with a requirement to work at least 4 days per week on-site and one flexible work-from-home day.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Product Owner working directly with a software engineering team, ideally in a regulated or safety-conscious environment
- Ability to write requirements and acceptance criteria precise enough for engineers to build against without repeated clarification
- Strong translation skills: comfortable discussing problems with non-technical stakeholders and debating implementation trade-offs with engineers
- Comfort operating in early-stage environments where requests arrive informally and priorities shift, with ability to impose structure
- Passion for the operational side of product management — energized by optimizing the idea-to-delivery machinery rather than just defining vision
- Nice to have: experience in medical devices or regulated hardware/software environments with exposure to ISO 13485 or IEC 62304 documentation practices
- Nice to have: prior experience setting up or overhauling ticket intake and triage processes from scratch
- Nice to have: exposure to embedded or real-time software sufficient to sanity-check scope and complexity
