Nuitée is building the API backbone for the global travel industry—a "Stripe for Travel" that connects hotels, OTAs, fintechs, super-apps, and businesses entering travel for the first time. In this role, you will own Payments & Finance as a full business and product domain—the systems managing credit lines, financial exposure, risk, and complex payment requirements across the Stays business. You are accountable for outcomes, economics, priorities, and product decisions. You'll define success metrics with stakeholders, then decide with your team what to prioritize, test, build, and where to make trade-offs.
The core problems are complex and commercially significant: managing credit exposure as transaction volumes scale without limiting growth; supporting diverse client-specific payment requirements (virtual cards, charging rules, payment timing) without operational bloat; and making ledgers, financial workflows, and payment operations more scalable, reliable, and automated.
What makes this interesting: you can move extremely fast with minimal red tape—teams make their own product decisions and the culture favors asking forgiveness over waiting for permission. You own the path to outcomes and get to work on hard financial infrastructure problems (credit, risk, ledgers, payment flows). You'll also help build Nuitée's product organization as it scales from €1B toward €10B in booking value. The role comes with meaningful equity, so you participate in real upside.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Have owned a product or business area end-to-end for several years and can demonstrate the outcomes you drove
- Understand financial systems and payment flows, especially credit, ledgers, risk management, or financial exposure
- Can work closely with Finance and Risk teams, understand complex financial processes, and translate them into product decisions
- Comfortable working closely with engineering on technically complex products
- Experience in high-pressure environments where you were expected to drive outcomes yourself
- Ability to balance commercial opportunities, customer requirements, and financial risk; willing to go deep into underlying business mechanics
- Fintech, payments, or credit experience is more important than travel experience
- Comfortable with ambiguity; you like going deep into difficult problems and want to be accountable for what your product delivers
