Jerry.ai is a profitable, Series C, YC-backed startup with 5M+ customers and $240M in funding. The company is building an AI-powered advisor platform to manage physical assets, starting with car insurance and expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, and boat insurance, plus adjacent services like property tax savings tools. You will own one of several new product bets across emerging verticals. The role involves ramping quickly on new domains, synthesizing quantitative data from the Data Science team and qualitative insights from Customer Research, building and shipping new products, gathering customer feedback, iterating, and scaling to product-market fit. Specific product assignment (home, motorcycle, boat, RV, or non-insurance offerings) will depend on your background, interests, and business priorities at join time. Key responsibilities include: - Developing clear hypotheses from first-principles analysis before jumping to solutions - Owning product roadmap execution from early concept through launch and scaling - Running your own data analysis to build conviction from messy signals - Acting as a true owner—fixing broken things even outside your direct swim lane - Deep customer empathy and curiosity about user behavior and pain points - Flawless follow-through and execution discipline You bring 5+ years in management consulting (MBB or equivalent), consumer-facing product management, or equivalent high-growth startup experience. You have strong consumer product instincts from direct building or close collaboration with consumer teams. You're analytically strong, comfortable running your own analysis, and driven by understanding what problems you're solving before designing solutions. The role offers meaningful ownership and the opportunity to materially shape the company's trajectory over the next few years. You'll work on complex, non-standard problems—property tax rules vary by county, specialty vehicle insurance involves regulatory nuance—with no established playbooks to follow.
