CarOnSale is an AI-powered B2B platform for used-car trading across Europe, connecting over 40,000 buyers from 20+ countries with exclusive inventory. The company integrates software, pricing intelligence, logistics, and financing as an operating system for the automotive industry. You will own a product area end-to-end, from problem identification through solution design, launch, and measurement. Your core responsibilities include: • Driving conversion optimization across the entire purchase funnel by identifying drop-off points, forming hypotheses, and validating solutions through experimentation. • Building and managing API integrations with financing, logistics, and service partners—from technical specification through rollout. • Stewarding partner relationships on the product side: evaluating which integrations drive volume, leading negotiations, and ensuring execution. • Working directly with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Operations to ensure decisions are data-driven rather than opinion-based. • Defining, tracking, and acting on KPIs for your product area to inform prioritization. • Communicating complex topics clearly to engineers, dealers, and leadership. You will work hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote in Munich) with 10 additional "work from anywhere" days annually. The role includes 28 days vacation, semi-annual career development conversations, 20% employer pension contribution, subsidized transit, gym membership options, virtual stock options, and structured onboarding with buddy support. REQUIREMENTS: • 4–6 years of product management experience in a digital B2B marketplace, platform, or e-commerce environment. • Demonstrated success in conversion optimization with concrete examples of changes made and measurable impact. • Experience with API integrations: understanding how systems communicate and ability to spec at parity with engineering. • Track record managing product-side partnerships (selection, negotiation, technical integration, follow-through). • Strong analytical mindset: you work directly with data rather than requesting it, and base decisions on evidence. • Proactive problem-solving and ownership: identifying issues before escalation and solving independently. • Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences. • German language proficiency (C2 level) and fluent English. • Comfortable with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira and Confluence. • Active use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in daily work. Nice-to-have: • Experience with checkout, payment, or financing processes (e.g., BNPL). • Background in automotive or risk management.
