Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own both the ML modeling strategy and the platform infrastructure that powers it. You'll be embedded in Palo Alto alongside the ML engineering organization, with direct proximity to your technical team. On the modeling side, you'll own the roadmap for Klaviyo's core predictive models—smart send time optimization, audience optimization, product recommendations, and churn prediction—as well as emerging AI-assisted content and agent capabilities. You'll define quality metrics for each model family, establish evaluation frameworks, and partner with ML engineers and data scientists to ensure continuous improvement. On the platform side, you'll own the internal ML infrastructure that all of Klaviyo's ML teams depend on: DART (Ray-based offline ML job platform), MLflow, model serving, feature pipelines, and Prefect workflow orchestration. Your mission is to make ML engineers faster, safer, and more confident shipping models to production, while ensuring the platform scales ahead of the company's AI ambitions. This is a highly technical role requiring deep familiarity with distributed training, inference tradeoffs, and ML developer experience. You'll be the sole PM on the team, responsible for connecting platform investments to model outcomes and ultimately to customer impact. You'll work across 200,000+ customers, billions of consumer profiles, and hundreds of billions of events and messages. Key responsibilities include: defining and executing the modeling roadmap; owning the ML platform roadmap and making time-to-production a first-class metric; building evaluation and monitoring frameworks; partnering on build-vs-buy decisions; connecting technical investments to business outcomes; ensuring platform reliability and cost efficiency; and reducing friction for ML engineers shipping and maintaining models in production.
