Geomiq is a digital manufacturing platform connecting engineers and manufacturers globally. Users upload CAD files, configure parts, receive quotes, and place orders for CNC machining, injection moulding, sheet metal, and 3D printing. The company operates a two-sided network with supplier partners and internal teams across London, Shenzhen, Bangalore, and Porto, handling quoting, quality, and logistics. Clients include BMW, Rolls-Royce, Brompton Bicycle, and Google.
You will own the product strategy and lead the product team day-to-day, reporting directly to the CEO. Your scope spans the buyer experience (upload, quote, order flows), supplier-side operations (RFQs, matching, performance tracking), and internal tools for sales and operations teams. You will manage four developers and a data scientist, setting direction, running delivery cycles, and maintaining quality standards.
Key responsibilities include owning the product roadmap across all three areas; making prioritization, scope, and trade-off decisions with clear communication; leading the engineering and data science team; identifying and shipping AI-driven solutions to remove manual work from quoting, sourcing, and sales (e.g., email-to-quote automation, spec extraction from drawings, account scoring, AI agents); collaborating with sales, supply chain, and regional hubs to understand workflows before implementing changes; and defining success metrics for each product initiative with honest reporting on outcomes.
You will work in a hybrid model, required to be in the Hackney office (E2 9DQ) at least 3 days per week. The role demands someone who makes product decisions and owns the results.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in product management, with direct experience owning product at a marketplace, platform, two-sided, B2B, e-commerce, procurement, or on-demand business
- Demonstrated product decisions you made and lived with; ability to articulate what you decided, what happened, and what you would change
- Experience leading engineers and/or data scientists day-to-day
- Genuine curiosity about AI; hands-on experience building, shipping, or seriously experimenting with LLM products or agents
- Technical proficiency: able to read API documentation, query data in SQL, and challenge engineering estimates
- Strong track record from a leading university and/or high-calibre companies
- History of staying in roles long enough to see work through to completion
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
- Must live in the UK within 1 hour 10 minutes' commute of Hackney office
- Commitment to at least 3 days per week in-office attendance
NICE TO HAVE:
- Manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial B2B experience
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as n8n
