Rent the Runway is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for its inventory, operations, and supply chain systems. You will own the vision and roadmap for systems powering RTR's order fulfillment, returns, inventory management, bookings, transportation, and supplier network. This role requires leading a squad of engineers and collaborating across Operations, Transportation, Inventory, Buying, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance to deliver measurable operational improvements.
Key responsibilities include: driving product strategy and execution for operational and supply chain systems; building and optimizing internal fulfillment and warehouse technology while expanding external supplier integration capabilities; aligning cross-functional teams on high-impact solutions; shipping improvements that increase warehouse throughput, optimize inventory accuracy and ROI, reduce cycle times, and expand supplier capacity; leveraging AI tools and modern workflows for rapid prototyping and validation; and maintaining data-driven iteration with clear success metrics and post-launch performance monitoring.
You will be based in RTR's Dumbo (Brooklyn) office, operating on a hybrid model with 4 days in-office and flexible Fridays. Regular weekly travel to the Secaucus, NJ fulfillment center is expected, along with occasional travel to other operational facilities in the New York metro area.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of Product Management experience and a strong track record shipping complex products. Direct experience in e-commerce, fulfillment, inventory management, reverse logistics, transportation, or supply chain domains is strongly preferred. You should excel at breaking down complex systems into actionable requirements, be technically fluent (comfortable with APIs, system architecture, SQL), and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments. Data-informed decision-making and the ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders are essential.
