VSCO is seeking a Senior Product Manager II to lead the development of new economic opportunities for photographers on their platform. The role focuses on building out VSCO's creator economy features—helping photographers monetize their work, manage client relationships, and run sustainable creative businesses. You will own the strategic direction and roadmap for VSCO's economy initiatives, working at both strategic and tactical levels. Key responsibilities include: deeply understanding photographer workflows and business needs; identifying and validating high-potential monetization opportunities; overseeing product delivery across payment infrastructure, payout systems, and compliance; regularly engaging with users to inform direction; and collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Finance, Trust & Safety, and Legal teams. The role emphasizes founder-like ownership and entrepreneurial problem-solving. You'll use AI tools to accelerate research, spec writing, and decision-making; build lightweight prototypes with no-code tools; create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces; and influence executive stakeholders through strong strategic thinking and communication. Required experience: 5–8 years as a full-time Product Manager with creator economy background. You should have 0→1 product experience that drove customer and business growth; strong systems thinking; expertise in monetization design and take-rate tradeoffs; hands-on experience building payout infrastructure (Stripe Connect, PayPal Payouts, or similar); deep understanding of payment infrastructure reliability and compliance (KYC, regulatory requirements); and the ability to define product strategy, secure leadership buy-in, and motivate cross-functional execution. Superb communication skills—both written and spoken—are essential.
