Salesforce is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Hyperforce team to own and innovate strategic platform capabilities focused on infrastructure-as-a-service, developer experience, and AI-driven solutions. This role combines technical depth with product strategy, requiring you to build technologies that scale compute infrastructure cost-effectively while optimizing resource utilization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning strategic platform capabilities such as resource optimization, leveraging infrastructure/platform-as-a-service knowledge and open-source technologies
- Applying AI to understand user pain points, investigate product maturity gaps in scaling and availability, and build product concepts
- Engaging with customers and partners to develop product roadmaps, gather feedback, and identify opportunities
- Representing Salesforce as a domain expert at customer interactions, industry events, and community forums
- Building product prototypes, writing strategy documents, and translating customer needs into product capabilities
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of Product Management, Solution Architecture, or similar experience
- Technical depth in infrastructure/platform-as-a-service (IaaS/PaaS), containers/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability
- Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) and data analytics (SQL)
- Experience developing rich user experiences, defining KPIs for user journeys, and building platform automation
- Technical degree, preferably in Software Engineering
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Preferred qualifications include experience with resource optimization techniques (Karpenter, Kueue) and direct experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure services.
