GiveCampus is the world's leading fundraising platform for non-profit educational institutions, trusted by 1,300+ colleges, universities, and K-12 schools. The company is backed by Y Combinator, has been profitable 9 of the last 10 years, made the Inc. 5000 list for five consecutive years, and recently closed a $140 million growth investment with major employee liquidity events. GC Events is GiveCampus's product for schools to run homecomings, reunions, galas, and auctions on the platform. It is revenue-generating, approaching product-market fit, and represents one of the biggest growth levers for the company. You will own GC Events end-to-end as Senior Product Manager, accountable for commercial outcomes—not just roadmap execution. Your responsibilities span strategy, discovery, execution, shipping quality and velocity, launch readiness, adoption, operations, and vendor/integration management. You will work closely with a dedicated GTM Lead who co-owns the commercial KR and handles messaging, positioning, pricing, launches, campaigns, and sales enablement. Together, you drive GC Events to become the undisputed first choice for schools seeking best-in-class event registration, ticketing, and auction software, with a target of 10x revenue growth by end of 2027. You will report to the Head of Product and partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Partner Operations, Partner Success, Marketing, Business Development, and Business Operations. Key success outcomes include: (1) co-owning commercial results with your GTM counterpart, accountable for the full equation across product, vendors, and external partners; (2) becoming insanely close to users—knowing GC Events and Partner schools better than anyone, maintaining direct relationships with fundraisers, attending events in person, and understanding churn risk; (3) operating with a builder mindset, using AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Figma Make, v0) to prototype, experiment, and ship fixes yourself rather than filing tickets; (4) developing and refining the GC Events roadmap with input from Partners and customer-facing teams, with a meaningful focus on AI's role both in product development and as a core capability for users; (5) setting the pace—making fast decisions (80% right today beats 100% right next week), moving between priorities fluidly, and creating urgency across the team. The role is remote-first based in the US, with expectations to attend multiple company-wide and team-specific in-person onsites throughout the year. GiveCampus has a 12,000 sq ft office in Washington, DC available for flexible use. **Requirements:** - 5+ years of product management experience, independently managing complex, technical products from 0-to-1 and through meaningful scale in high-growth, fast-paced environments - Proven PM track record of moving commercial numbers, not just shipping features; ability to point to owned outcomes, not just led launches - Deep discovery, data, and prioritization skills: experience concepting, prototyping, testing, and validating ideas with real users; ability to distinguish customer asks from customer needs; comfort making and defending decisions with data and moving when data is thin; ability to conduct own analyses without waiting on others - AI-native operator: integrated AI across full PM workflow (research synthesis, data analysis, drafting, prototyping, experimentation); hands-on experience with AI-powered tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, v0, Figma Make, or similar) to move from idea to working prototype and ideally shipped fixes, experiments, or companion apps; clear point of view on how AI shows up as a product capability (which problems it solves, where it earns core-flow placement, how human-in-the-loop works); active exploration of AI possibilities with judgment about when hands-on contribution multiplies the team versus distracts - Technical fluency: hold your own in discussions on software architecture, security, data modeling, and integrations; participate in technical decisions by understanding tradeoffs, not performing depth - Execution and cross-functional leadership: led and continuously improved full execution loops (sprint planning, standups, refinement, retrospectives, resource allocation, roadmap execution); treat velocity as a first-class metric; partnered closely with GTM, sales, customer success, and marketing counterparts to move commercial outcomes; know the difference between driving others' work and amplifying the person whose job it is - Cultural fit: dynamic emerging leader better at listening than speaking; thrives in ambiguity and creates order in chaos; hands-on builder excited to go deep into technical requirements, user flows, and data; operates AI-first by default; strong collaborator comfortable operating independently; intensely curious; operates with urgency and fast pace; holds self and others to high standards; deep sense of ownership and accountability; comfortable with strong opinions loosely held; runs toward big ambitious goals; passionate about advancing quality, affordability, and accessibility of education; radical empathy for Partner schools, fundraisers, and donors
