AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the integration of structured financial data into its AI-powered market intelligence platform. The role sits within the Financial Data content organization, which curates best-in-class structured data from both internal sources and third-party providers. Following AlphaSense's 2024 acquisition of Tegus, this team is integrating rich research datasets alongside third-party data to create a comprehensive database for investment analysis.
You will own the complete "zero-to-one" product lifecycle for new data initiatives, from initial analysis through launch and ongoing optimization. This includes understanding how to structure data to support multiple workflows (investor research, quantitative analysis, M&A), defining technical requirements, supporting development and testing, and managing iterative enhancements based on customer feedback.
Key responsibilities include acting as the bridge between sophisticated user workflows and technical execution—translating complex analytical needs into robust data architectures while partnering with platform teams (Web, Excel, AI) to ensure seamless delivery. You'll collaborate with internal domain experts in capital markets and investment research to validate hypotheses, understand pain points, and inform prioritization. You'll also remain vigilant about industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer workflows to evolve the product and content vision.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of product management experience in fintech, investment research, or financial services, with a proven track record managing complex, multi-team data projects. You should excel at making difficult trade-offs, sequencing development under tight deadlines, and communicating complex ideas across departments. Technical fluency with SQL, LLMs, or similar tools to query and audit datasets is valued. A background in finance, accounting, or business (ideally with an MBA or CFA) is preferred. You'll report to the Director of Product, FinData.
