Binti builds software for state and county government agencies to reinvent social services, starting with child welfare. The company has helped approve over 100,000 families to foster or adopt and supports 49% of the nation's child welfare system. You'll own product strategy and roadmap for the Family Finding & Engagement module, which helps social workers locate and engage relatives when children enter care—a critical function that improves outcomes for children and families. In this role, you'll translate needs from family finding specialists, social workers, supervisors, and kin caregivers into a multi-year vision and sharp quarterly roadmap. You'll drive key metrics including kinship placement rates, connections identified per child, time to first relative contact, outreach response rates, and placement stability. A major focus is identifying where AI can transform the workflow: inferring relationships from unstructured case records, surfacing buried connections, drafting and translating outreach, and prioritizing high-value leads. You'll prototype rapidly using AI tools (Claude, Figma, Cursor, v0) to test ideas with users in days rather than weeks, and you're expected to use AI aggressively in your own workflows. Deep user understanding is non-negotiable—you'll spend real time shadowing social workers and hearing from kin caregivers. You'll also push for scale across private agencies and state systems running hundreds of concurrent searches. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Sales, and customer-facing teams alongside experienced fellow PMs, reporting to the Head of Product. The role is hybrid: in-person Mondays and Thursdays at the SF office (with free lunch), remote the rest of the week. Binti is a mission-driven, for-profit company (~90 people) backed by Founders Fund, First Round Capital, and Kapor Capital, with a vision to rewire government to be more effective.
