Veeva Systems is a public benefit corporation and pioneer in industry cloud for life sciences, with over $3B in annual revenue. Falcon Writer is Veeva's AI authoring product that helps medical writers draft regulated life sciences content (clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, periodic reports) from customer data, enabling faster production of accurate, source-backed documents. You will own and design core product features end-to-end, from user stories and functional requirements through feature specifications and quality control. Working directly with medical writing, regulatory, and clinical teams at customer organizations, you'll understand their workflows and translate that into a prioritized roadmap for engineering. This is a hands-on role in applied AI where correctness and compliance are paramount. Key responsibilities include: - Own product features from conception to delivery, including requirements definition and quality assurance - Convert ambiguous, early-stage problems into clear technical requirements and shippable work - Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Project Management, and cross-functional Product teams - Build deep subject matter expertise in medical writing, regulatory workflows, and compliance requirements through direct customer engagement - Define and track metrics (authoring speed, draft quality, adoption) to drive prioritization and measure success - Be accountable for product outcomes The role has a preference for candidates in Eastern or Central Time Zones and is part of a Work Anywhere company supporting hybrid flexibility. Requirements: - 4+ years of hands-on product management experience - Demonstrated experience shipping AI or machine learning product features, with ability to define AI use cases with clear user and business value, and to reason about AI system behavior, guardrails, verification, and human review needs - Strong ability to understand complex customer workflows and ambiguous problems, translating them into clear product direction and solutions - Extensive customer-facing experience with clear communication and ability to independently lead customer discovery and align senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams - Builder's instinct—preference for hands-on work with engineering over roadmap reviews Nice to have: - Experience in Life Sciences industry, SaaS, or enterprise products - Familiarity with regulatory, clinical, medical writing, or pharma document workflows - Experience with content management or document generation products - Experience with Veeva or Vault - Familiarity with generative AI workflows (prompt design, model evaluation, AI-assisted authoring) - Experience building prototypes with AI coding tools
