Wispr AI is building the voice interface for computing. The company's first products are Flow (a natural voice interface for any application) and Notetaker (which builds context across conversations). Wispr is a talent-dense team focused on solving hard problems across models, systems, and product with deep care for the human experience.
As a Product Engineer, Growth, you will own the activation curve for Wispr's products—specifically onboarding, first dictation, and the path from trial to reliance. Hundreds of thousands of users onboard each quarter, but most haven't yet reached the moment voice becomes natural in their workflow. Your challenge is to unlock that moment.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the activation curve: design and optimize onboarding, first use, and habit formation
- Ship experiments rapidly, interpret results honestly, and scale winners while killing losers
- Improve randomization, exposure, instrumentation, and analysis to ensure trustworthy results
- Close funnel gaps across platforms by collaborating with product and engineering teams
- Answer product questions with data while recognizing when measurements may be misleading
- Take ownership of ambiguous problems and chart the path forward
This role emphasizes product-led growth and experimentation. You'll work at the intersection of product strategy and engineering, shipping several clear iterations rather than waiting for one perfect launch.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated ability to move a funnel metric; you can explain the before state, after state, and why your work caused the change
- Willingness to kill your own experiments when evidence contradicts your hypothesis
- Ability to ship at production quality while favoring rapid iteration
- Comfort answering product questions with data and recognizing measurement limitations
- Ownership mindset when problems or paths forward are ambiguous
- Product-led growth, experimentation platform, or SQL experience is helpful but not required
- Voice, ML, or native desktop/mobile experience is not required
