Jerry.ai is a profitable, Series C, YC-backed startup with 5M+ customers and $240M in funding, building an AI-powered advisor platform to manage physical assets. Starting with car insurance in 2019, the company is now expanding into new verticals including home, motorcycle, RV, and boat insurance, plus adjacent non-insurance products like property tax savings tools.
You will own one of several emerging product bets, each at different stages from concept to early launch. Your mission is to ramp quickly on a new domain, synthesize data and customer insights to identify high-leverage priorities, build and ship products, gather feedback, iterate, and scale. Specific products may include motorcycle insurance (recently launched), home insurance (recently launched), specialty vehicle insurance (boat/RV in concept phase), or property tax optimization tools (launching soon).
Each product area presents distinct operational complexity: property tax rules vary by county, specialty vehicle insurance involves regulatory nuances absent from standard auto, and each serves different customer personas with unique pain points. You will drive execution from early concept or early launch through product-market fit and scaling, with meaningful ownership over your product's trajectory and direct impact on company growth.
The role requires a first-principles thinker who approaches problems with curiosity and data-driven hypothesis development. You should act as an owner—taking responsibility for outcomes even outside your immediate scope—while remaining empathetic and diligent in execution. You'll partner closely with Data Science and Customer Insights & Research teams to inform decisions.
Required: 5+ years in management consulting (MBB or equivalent), consumer-facing product management, or equivalent high-growth startup experience. You need strong consumer product instincts (from direct building or close collaboration) and comfort running your own data analysis to build conviction from messy signals.
