Jerry is a fintech platform that simplifies asset ownership, starting with car insurance and expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, and boat insurance, plus adjacent services like property tax savings. The company has grown to 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and achieved profitability in early 2024. You will own a 0-to-1 product initiative within one of Jerry's new verticals or adjacent product bets. These are genuinely new territories for the company—no established playbooks, no prior PM who has solved it. Depending on your background and interests, you might focus on motorcycle insurance (recently launched), home insurance (recently launched), emerging verticals like boat/RV insurance (concept phase), or non-insurance products such as property tax optimization tools (launching soon). Your core responsibilities: ramp quickly on a new domain, synthesize quantitative insights from the Data Science team and qualitative research from Customer Insights, identify high-leverage priorities, build and ship products, gather customer feedback rapidly, iterate, and compound on what works. You will drive execution from early concept or post-launch through product-market fit and scaling, with meaningful ownership over the product roadmap. The role demands first-principles thinking—approaching problems with curiosity and data-driven hypotheses before jumping to solutions. You should be an owner who acts like your name is on the door, taking responsibility even outside your swim lane. Strong empathy and diligence are essential; you care deeply about understanding customer behavior and your follow-through is impeccable. You bring 5+ years in management consulting (MBB or equivalent), consumer-facing product management, or equivalent roles at high-growth startups. You have consumer product instincts from direct building or close collaboration with consumer teams. You're comfortable with data—able to run your own analysis and build conviction from messy signals.
