Bounce is a travel convenience platform operating the world's largest luggage storage network across 100+ countries, with 35,000+ local business partners. The company recently expanded into luggage delivery and 24/7 lockers, and was named the fastest-growing travel company in the US on the 2024 Inc 5000 list. Backed by a16z, General Catalyst, and 359 Capital, Bounce operates as a small, nimble team across Lisbon, San Francisco, and Tokyo.
As Senior Product Manager for Demand Growth, you will own two critical product pods: the Acquisition Pod (driving user discovery through SEO, AI discovery, paid marketing, and partnerships) and the Conversion Pod (optimizing the end-to-end booking funnel to maximize conversion, revenue, and user intent capture). Your mission is to grow demand efficiently by improving both traffic quality and conversion performance.
You will translate Bounce's growth strategy into data-driven product bets, partnering closely with engineering, design, data, SEO, and performance marketing teams. Your scope spans landing page architecture, geospatial discovery experiences, checkout flows, and experimentation frameworks—all directly driving GMV growth.
Key responsibilities include: developing top-of-funnel strategy to identify and scale new user acquisition channels; identifying and removing conversion friction across the booking funnel; collaborating with teams across paid, SEO, organic, and CRM channels; running frequent experiments and rapidly iterating based on results; pulling and analyzing your own data using AI tools; and reporting to the Product leader while working closely with the Growth leader.
First-year targets include building and scaling new acquisition channels and lifting relative booking conversion rate by 15%. You will work autonomously while collaborating deeply across functions, operating with a velocity-first mindset and experiment-driven approach.
The company values speed, experimentation, freedom with responsibility, outcome ownership, scalable thinking, scrappiness, feedback culture, and relationship-building. Work setup is flexible hybrid with 'work-from-anywhere' weeks.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in a growth-focused role, owning both acquisition and conversion outcomes
- AI-native: ship with Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools; run analysis with LLMs in real jobs (not just side projects)
- Preference for staying hands-on as an individual contributor rather than managing large teams
- Comfortable owning full-funnel metrics from traffic and activation through conversion and GMV
- High data literacy: able to run your own analysis, interpret results, and translate insights into product direction
- Pragmatic, outcome-driven mindset with ability to operate autonomously while collaborating across functions
- Experience running experiments, prioritizing them, and rapidly killing losers
