Axi is a leading global brokerage offering margin and deliverable Foreign Exchange, CFDs, and Financial Spread betting across six regions. The company is building out its crypto trading product suite and seeks a Senior Product Manager to own and scale multi-country trading products across Spot, Futures, Options, and adjacent trading experiences.
This is a hands-on product execution role reporting to the Head of Product. You will drive trading products end-to-end: understanding trader needs, translating them into detailed product requirements, collaborating with Engineering, Design, Operations, and Compliance to drive execution, and ensuring reliability under real-world crypto trading conditions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and execute trading products across Spot and Derivatives (Futures, Options) with sharp prioritization focused on stability, retention, and risk mitigation
- Write detailed specs that translate complex trading requirements into clear, executable requirements for Engineering and Design
- Go deep into trading mechanics: order types, validation rules, pricing, fees, margin, leverage, P&L, order states, positions, cancellations, failures, edge cases, and risk-related flows
- Work closely with Engineering to understand and influence architecture, platform behavior, APIs, order lifecycles, and technical constraints
- Partner with Design to build intuitive trading experiences without compromising functionality
- Own the performance scorecard for your charter, resolve blockers, and keep the team moving
- Stay close to traders, understand their behavior, and channel feedback and product data to identify problems and opportunities
- Define success metrics, monitor products post-launch, and drive continuous iteration
You should enjoy getting deep into the details of trading systems and trader experiences—from order forms and calculations to order routing and position management. You will have significant ownership and be expected to make decisions, unblock teams, and drive products from problem definition through detailed requirements, build, growth, and iteration.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with meaningful experience shipping equity or crypto trading products
- Deep understanding of Spot and Derivatives (perpetuals, options, etc.) trading mechanics and order lifecycle
- Ability to write and orchestrate detailed product specs that Engineering teams can directly execute against, with 100% coverage of formulas, edge cases, state transitions, validations, failure scenarios, and test cases
- Proficiency with AI tools and LLMs as force multipliers, with strong human-in-the-loop judgment; PRDs and prototypes should not be one-shot AI outputs
- Ability to force trade-off conversations and ground prioritizations in business reality
- Understanding of trader psychology—why they trade, what matters to them—and ability to translate this into product outcomes
- Knack for building products with emotional resonance and understanding why traders choose one platform over another
- Deep care about what you're building and ability to relentlessly champion your team's mission
