Lendable is a UK fintech unicorn (800+ employees, profitable since 2017, backed by Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs) rebuilding consumer finance products—loans, credit cards, and car finance—with modern technology and data-driven decisioning. The company operates in the UK and US, targeting trillions in financial products currently held by legacy banking systems.
As Senior Product Manager for CRM & Growth, you will own the products and systems that shape how customers experience Lendable across their lifecycle: from first interaction through retention and reactivation. Every email and notification is part of the customer experience, and Lendable's 4.9★ Trustpilot rating (100,000+ reviews) sets a high bar for clarity, timeliness, and honesty.
This is not a backlog-grooming role. You will make commercial trade-offs between engagement, retention, conversion, cost to serve, and customer experience. You will prioritize a pipeline of competing opportunities, deciding what not to do. Teams are small relative to scale, so you will carry more scope and ownership than the same title at a larger company.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the roadmap and outcomes for CRM and lifecycle products: onboarding, engagement, retention, reactivation
- Prioritize competing opportunities across CRM, growth, deliverability, and platform work by expected impact, effort, and risk
- Take products from problem definition through launch and iteration, owning both product and technical decisions alongside Engineering
- Define metrics that matter and make commercial trade-offs; ensure performance is measurable end-to-end
- Run an experimentation program: write hypotheses, design A/B tests, use SQL and data to measure incremental impact
- Treat email deliverability and messaging reliability as product concerns; work with Engineering on infrastructure, integrations, and cost efficiency
- Shape requirements with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Risk, and Compliance to ensure effective, compliant shipping
- Hold a high bar for customer-facing content: clear, honest, well-tested, rigorously checked
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL:
- 5+ years in product management with substantial experience in CRM, lifecycle, messaging, or growth for a consumer product at meaningful scale
- Strong product management fundamentals: demonstrated ability to take a product or channel from problem definition through launch and iteration, owning both product and technical delivery
- Excellent prioritization skills: a clear, defensible framework for ranking opportunities by impact, effort, and risk; confidence to say no; ability to explain trade-offs to stakeholders
- Track record of owning measurable outcomes in engagement, retention, or revenue (not just shipping features)
- Strong SQL and analytical skills; experience designing and interpreting A/B tests; habit of measuring impact rigorously rather than relying on vanity metrics
- Technical depth to work credibly with engineers on messaging infrastructure, deliverability, and platform integrations; clear communication across technical and commercial audiences
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry
- Experience launching a new channel or capability end-to-end (e.g., push notifications across mobile and web)
- Experience building experimentation or measurement tooling, including getting CRM and messaging data into a BI environment
- Experience mentoring other product managers or CRM specialists
