Papa is a healthtech company founded in 2017 that pairs older adults with trained companions to reduce loneliness and improve health outcomes. Backed by top-tier VCs including Tiger Global, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, and Canaan, Papa works with health plans and employers nationwide. You'll join Papa Community, a 0-to-1 venture building virtual care for seniors, based in San Francisco. As the first dedicated Senior Product Manager for this division, you'll own the entire product roadmap for the care delivery platform—the operational backbone that enables Papa's care model to scale. Key responsibilities include: • Own the care delivery platform roadmap end-to-end, from discovery through requirements definition, investment sequencing, and delivery. You'll make foundational decisions about platform evolution that shape Papa Community's care model for years. • Design and improve internal clinical workflows by working directly with the care team to understand ground-level operations and translate insights into product requirements and workflow improvements. • Lead system integration decisions, evaluating and prioritizing API integrations within the health tech stack (EHR, care management tools, billing infrastructure). You'll make build vs. buy recommendations and ensure systems work together seamlessly. • Own end-to-end outcomes at the intersection of clinical and engineering teams, earning influence through judgment and translating across functions. You'll report directly to the General Manager and partner closely with engineering and clinical teams. This is a rare opportunity to define a product from the ground up where your decisions directly impact how care is delivered at scale. Ideal candidates have experience building 0-to-1 products, strong judgment about sequencing roadmaps around operational need, deep empathy for non-technical users, and the ability to make smart build vs. buy decisions under resource constraints. Experience in healthtech, clinical workflows, or working with regulated industries is valuable.
