Onebrief builds collaboration and AI-powered workflow software for military planning and operational coordination. You will own the product vision and strategy for Atom Engine's Content team, which creates the scenarios, units, and entities that power military planning exercises. This is a senior individual contributor role that brings product leadership to a complex domain.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the Content vision and roadmap, defining how Atom Engine content should evolve to meet user needs and support broader product direction
- Translate user needs and company priorities into clear strategy, actionable requirements, and priorities for content specialists
- Own the content creation process, identifying bottlenecks and improving workflows for how content is requested, scoped, created, validated, maintained, and reused
- Define success criteria for content accuracy, consistency, usability, and fitness for purpose
- Resolve ambiguity and manage competing requests to enable focused execution by the content team
- Connect content strategy with broader product, engineering, design, and domain expertise to align dependencies
- Measure content effectiveness using exercise feedback, user research, and production data to guide continuous improvement
You combine systems thinking with attention to detail, understanding how scenarios and entities work together while seeing how individual decisions affect the broader experience. You move from user needs to clear vision, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and turn vision into actionable priorities. You seek expertise from users and specialists, uncover non-obvious requirements, and make decisions that help teams move forward.

Requirements:
- Experience owning strategy and execution for a complex product, content portfolio, or production workflow
- Strong product judgment with ability to prioritize competing needs and translate broad goals into actionable requirements
- Deep understanding of simulation technologies and workflows, with appreciation for how content quality shapes user experience
- Systems-oriented approach to improving processes, balancing quality, speed, maintainability, and scale
- Clear, concise communication and ability to build alignment across technical teams, domain experts, and senior leadership
- Collaborative, pragmatic approach with respect for specialist expertise and confidence to make decisions
- Comfort working autonomously, navigating ambiguity, and taking accountability for results
- Understanding of or strong interest in military and defense technology space
- U.S. citizenship required
