Viz.ai is seeking a Senior Product Manager with pulmonary medicine expertise to own and develop AI-powered care pathways for pulmonary conditions. The company deploys its platform across 2,000 US hospitals and was the first to receive CMS reimbursement for AI-based clinical decision support.
In this role, you will own one or more pulmonary care pathways end-to-end, starting with COPD, AATD, and broader pulmonary clinic workflows including asthma, incidental pulmonary nodules, and lung cancer screening. You will translate clinical guidelines and evidence into patient criteria, care gap logic, and workflow design. Your responsibilities include:
- Conduct discovery and site visits with pulmonary care teams and key opinion leaders (KOLs), synthesizing findings into prioritized problems and product recommendations.
- Develop product requirements with engineering and design teams, establish success metrics, and drive cross-functional execution while surfacing dependencies and blockers early.
- Own products post-launch: identify adoption barriers, partner with Customer Success and Implementation teams to resolve them, and use feedback and usage data to guide continuous improvement.
- Lead clinical investigation and resolution of customer issues alongside customer-facing teams, partnering with the Clinical team and CMO on validation and evidence.
- Prototype and test ideas with clinicians using design and AI-assisted prototyping tools.
- Report to the Pulmonary product leader and work hands-on with the Clinical team and CMO to ensure clinical soundness and evidence-based decision-making.
This is a hands-on product ownership role, not a clinical advisory position. Viz.ai welcomes pulmonologists transitioning from clinical practice into product management, as well as those already working in product or digital health. You do not need a prior product management title; what matters is firsthand knowledge of pulmonary care and a track record of improving clinical workflows or leading digital health initiatives.
Viz.ai is a remote-first company across the US and EU, with a team in Tel Aviv operating in flexible hybrid mode.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MD/DO with completed specialty training in pulmonary medicine and medical licensure (active or previously held).
- 3+ years of clinical practice in pulmonary medicine; outpatient pulmonary experience strongly preferred, including longitudinal COPD and asthma management, testing, referrals, follow-up, and care-team coordination.
- Product management or digital health experience, or a track record of improving clinical workflows, implementing clinical software, or leading digital health initiatives; 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Structured problem-solving, clear writing, and a demonstrated record of driving work to completion across teams.
- Working knowledge of pulmonary guidelines and how care pathways operate within health systems.
- Familiarity with EHR workflows; Epic experience preferred.
- Curiosity about AI products and willingness to prototype and test ideas independently.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience running a COPD, asthma, AATD program, or incidental nodule/lung cancer screening program.
- Experience with clinical AI validation or FDA CDS guidance.
- Experience partnering with pharma or life sciences companies in respiratory disease.
