Salary: USD 150,000 - 165,000 / annual
Vestwell is a fintech platform powering the savings economy across retirement, education, and healthcare. The company serves over 350,000 businesses and 2M active savers with $50B in assets across all 50 states, working with financial advisers, employers, third-party administrators, financial institutions, payroll providers, and government agencies.
As Senior Product Manager for Integrations, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for how third-party systems connect to Vestwell. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role focused on building scalable, reliable APIs and data workflows that power critical business functions. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and external partners to simplify complex financial processes, improve data quality, and enable seamless experiences for partners and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the product roadmap for payroll integrations from concept through delivery and ongoing optimization
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and facilitate new partner integrations
- Defining and evolving internal and external-facing APIs that power data exchange between Vestwell and third-party platforms
- Partnering with Engineering and QA to ensure integrations are well-documented, tested, and scalable
- Analyzing usage and performance data to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reliability, and partner experience
You'll be part of a fast-growing startup with hybrid flexibility across offices in Midtown Manhattan, Austin, King of Prussia, and Scottsdale.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-have:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS, fintech, or platform company
- Deep understanding of REST APIs and experience managing API-driven products or integrations, including OAuth 2.0/OIDC, scopes and tokens, webhooks, idempotency, pagination, versioning, and rate limiting
- Strong business and systems analysis skills with ability to translate needs into clear requirements
- Experience driving the full product lifecycle in an Agile environment
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in retirement, payroll, or benefits technology
- SQL proficiency for data validation and insights
