Truecaller is a global communication safety platform trusted by over 450 million monthly active users across 190+ countries. The company identifies 15+ billion calls daily and operates one of the largest in-app advertising platforms in its markets.
This Senior Product Manager role owns Truecaller's direct advertising business end-to-end, spanning both brand and performance advertising products. The direct ads business is a fast-growing revenue driver, with performance advertising as the primary focus area. You will define the product strategy that enables advertisers to buy outcomes (installs, conversions) on Truecaller's platform, competing with industry-leading solutions in bidding, pricing, attribution, and optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the complete direct ads product roadmap covering branding and performance formats, targeting, buying models, and campaign tooling
- Building the performance advertising product with bidding, pricing, and optimization capabilities for scale
- Establishing the measurement and attribution foundation, including mobile measurement partner integrations and conversion signal quality
- Driving systematic improvements in click-through, install, and conversion rates across formats and placements
- Working with sales to translate product capabilities into advertiser outcomes (ROAS, delivery predictability) and budget growth
- Allocating roughly 25% of roadmap bandwidth to maintaining competitive brand ad products while scaling performance
You will partner closely with engineering, data science, sales, and ad operations teams. This is a high-ownership role expected to drive the majority of direct revenue growth over the next two years.
Required experience: 4+ years in product management with meaningful time building performance advertising products at ad networks, ad platforms, or consumer internet companies with large ads businesses. Must-have skills include hands-on understanding of the performance stack (CPI/CPA/oCPM buying models, bidding, pacing, campaign optimization, funnel analysis), working experience with mobile measurement partners (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Kochava, Singular), and deep advertiser empathy. Strong plus: experience building across both brand and performance advertising. You should be comfortable collaborating with data science teams on prediction models and bid optimization, and have a commercial orientation with experience working with sales and ad ops teams.
