Nozomi Networks is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the product strategy and design of a new OT-native CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and service management platform. This platform will serve as the system of record for industrial operations—tracking every asset, change, approval, and full history in a single platform built specifically for operational technology (OT) environments. The role is unique because the platform sits on live, first-party asset data from Nozomi Networks' sensors, enabling real-time verification that recorded asset states match actual network conditions. AI agents are core to the design, not bolted on, automating change detection, work creation, and historical asset queries. Key Responsibilities: Own the OT-Native Data Model: Lead design of the data model for assets, installed positions, locations, and ISA-95 hierarchies (site, area, line, cell). Define how recorded asset state relates to live network data and what happens when they diverge. Decide how offline equipment and spreadsheet imports coexist with observed assets, maintaining clarity on which values were observed versus declared. Define Identity and Reconciliation: Partner with engineering on identity and reconciliation rules. When records from sensors, integrations, and spreadsheets describe the same physical asset, determine which source wins for each field and ensure every value remains traceable. Shape Workflows, Integrations, and AI: Design default workflows for planned/unplanned change, vulnerability remediation, asset changes, and safety approvals on a configurable workflow engine. Define how the platform integrates with existing CMDBs and ITSM tools, determining record ownership and work flow between systems. Help decide where AI agents act autonomously versus where human approval is required. Drive Decisions and Delivery: Own the problem end-to-end, negotiate solutions with engineering, hold the line on release requirements, and convert weeks of debate into days of decisions. Validate designs with enterprise and mid-market customers in early access. The platform is currently in design and early-access phases, with the data model still open to influence. You will shape the solution alongside engineering and customers. Requirements: - Prior experience building or shipping a CMDB or similar configuration/asset management platform (this is the critical requirement) - Strong product management fundamentals: ability to own a problem, make decisive calls, and drive cross-functional alignment - Experience designing data models, workflows, and integrations for enterprise platforms - Comfort with technical depth; ability to partner effectively with engineering on complex system design - OT (operational technology) experience is a plus, not required. The company will help you learn the domain; CMDB/platform experience is the hard part to find.
