EdCast is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for its skills and AI platform. You'll own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for skills capabilities, from discovery through launch and iteration. This role sits at the intersection of AI-powered experiences and skills intelligence, helping organizations understand their workforce capabilities and close skill gaps at scale. Key responsibilities include defining and driving AI product strategy—including personalized learning paths, content recommendations, skills inference, and generative/agentic features—while balancing user value, technical feasibility, and responsible AI practices. You'll translate customer and market needs into clear requirements and prioritized backlogs for engineering teams. You'll partner with data science and ML teams to build and refine models for skills mapping, competency assessment, and adaptive learning experiences. You'll lead the Skills product surface across course delivery, learning paths, assessments, reporting, admin workflows, and integrations with the broader LXP/LMS ecosystem. Conduct customer discovery, usability research, and win/loss analysis to validate direction and uncover opportunities. Define success metrics, instrument products for measurement, and use data to inform decisions and demonstrate impact. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, sales, and customer success to drive adoption and ensure go-to-market readiness. Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and progress clearly to leadership and stakeholders. Required qualifications: 6-8 years of product management experience, including 2+ years in a senior or lead capacity, ideally shipping SaaS or platform products. Direct experience building products in Skills, AI, or Talent technology space with hands-on familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and related learning ecosystems. Demonstrated experience shipping AI/ML-powered features and working understanding of scoping, evaluating, and productionizing models (personalization, recommendations, NLP, generative AI). Strong grasp of skills frameworks, competency models, and skills-based talent strategies. Proven ability to translate complex, ambiguous problems into clear product strategy and executable roadmaps. Fluency with product analytics and data-informed decision-making. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Customer-obsessed mindset backed by discovery and research-driven product development.
