Drata is a compliance automation and security assurance platform founded in 2020, now scaling with 600+ employees. The company is building an agentic AI platform to help organizations prove trust continuously as they scale. In this role, you'll own a product area within Drata's Compliance Group end-to-end, operating like a GM for your domain. You'll decide which customer problems matter most, set measurable outcomes with your engineering lead, and lead a small team of engineers and designers to deliver impact. Key Responsibilities: - Own value and business-viability risk for your product area: identify who it serves, quantify the customer problem, and determine what solving it is worth to Drata - Conduct continuous discovery across customer calls, product insights, support signals, and usage data to build evidence-backed problem statements - Set outcome-based goals (baseline, target, date, scope) jointly with your engineering manager - Sequence the path to goals, make trade-offs explicit, and identify risks and fallback plans before escalation - Communicate strategy at three levels: to your team, to GTM/Customer Success partners, and to executives, leading with customer impact - Lead launches through alpha, beta, and GA with clear success criteria for each phase; measure adoption, retention, and business impact post-release - Make product decisions on AI-powered experiences, including model behavior, data quality, observability, and user trust - Report weekly progress with data and narrative; flag at-risk items early with recovery plans - Build and defend the business case for investment in your area You'll work at the intersection of AI and security, solving problems without established playbooks. The culture emphasizes ownership, raising the bar, open debate, and diverse perspectives at every level. Requirements: - 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a track record of owning outcome metrics, not just shipping features - Strong discovery skills: ability to run effective customer interviews and distinguish underlying problems from feature requests - Comfort with data: pull your own numbers, define success metrics, and let evidence inform decisions - Hands-on experience shipping AI-enabled products, or a well-formed point of view on responsible AI product development - Clear, concise writing for both executives and engineers - Sound judgment on trade-offs across customer value, business value, technical constraints, and risk - Experience working closely with sales-led GTM teams in enterprise or mid-market motions Nice to Have: - Domain experience in security, compliance, GRC, or audit (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST, etc.) - Experience building data-heavy or workflow products for technical or regulated buyers
