Coursera (now merged with Udemy) is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own Content Quality & Optimization across the combined platform. This role is critical as the merged company scales content from multiple authors, including AI-generated and AI-assisted material, while maintaining catalog credibility as a core competitive moat. You will own the end-to-end quality loop: from issue discovery through remediation to measurement. Today, content teams and partners struggle to identify quality problems and prioritize fixes. You'll transform this into a clear, data-driven view that surfaces high-impact issues with sufficient context to justify remediation efforts, then measure outcomes. Key responsibilities include: **Detection Intelligence & Tooling**: Shape how content quality is defined and measured at catalog scale. You'll work with AI-driven detection systems to identify and score issues, consolidating disconnected signals into a single, trusted quality metric that's legible to content teams and partners. **End-to-End Quality Workflow**: Own the systems that enable authors and content teams to find, fix, and prevent content issues. Make quality work visible and high-value rather than treating it as low-priority housekeeping. **Trust & Abuse Prevention**: Design sustainable guardrails and monitoring across instructor-facing channels to protect catalog credibility—keeping inappropriate, misleading, or plagiarized material out while safeguarding instructor identity and reputation. Enforcement must scale without penalizing good-faith actors. **Content Governance Framework**: Build durable governance systems rather than reactive firefighting. Establish clear content standards, define review and ownership models, and combine manual and automated enforcement for reputationally risky material across the catalog and promotional channels. This is a high-impact role at a pivotal moment: the combined Coursera-Udemy platform is one of the world's most comprehensive skills development platforms, serving millions of learners globally. You'll work with a globally distributed, mission-driven team focused on making education accessible and credible for everyone, everywhere.
