Via is a transportation technology company on a mission to transform public transit systems into smart, data-driven networks. Remix is Via's premier transit planning and scheduling platform, used by hundreds of transit agencies worldwide to design networks, model scenarios, and optimize service. You will own the Remix platform foundation — its usability, scalability, and flexibility — ensuring it remains the most powerful and intuitive tool for transit professionals globally. This role sits at the center of the product, requiring you to own the platform roadmap while also diving deep into individual features. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the Remix platform roadmap across usability, scalability, flexibility, and cross-cutting capabilities that all modules depend on - Defining and driving the vision for AI-led insights within Remix, enabling transit agencies to make data-informed decisions about service design, network performance, and operational efficiency - Maintaining the end-to-end product view from network planning through scheduling and live operations, ensuring the platform functions as a continuous feedback loop rather than disconnected tools - Identifying and prioritizing vertical feature investments across Remix modules, ensuring each is best-in-class - Partnering with engineering and design to improve platform usability, reducing friction for planners, schedulers, and analysts without sacrificing depth for power users - Working with data science and engineering to define how AI and analytics capabilities surface in the product — what insights matter, when they appear, and how they drive action - Engaging directly with customers to understand workflow pain points, validate priorities, and pressure-test the roadmap against real operational needs - Staying current on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technology You are a big-picture thinker who can articulate a multi-year platform vision while making sharp prioritization calls at the feature level. You have strong instincts for usability and product quality, noticing friction and knowing how to resolve it. You understand how AI and data products work in practice and have experience integrating analytical insights into operational workflows in ways users trust and act on. You can quickly become technically fluent in underlying data models and entities that power planning and scheduling systems, serving as a credible voice in technical architecture decisions alongside engineering partners. You have a track record of shipping high-quality features in complex, workflow-heavy enterprise environments where precision and reliability matter. You are collaborative, direct, and effective at building alignment across engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market partners. Requirements: - 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of platform or infrastructure-layer products used in complex enterprise workflows - Big-picture thinking ability with strong feature-level prioritization skills - Strong instincts for usability and product quality - Understanding of how AI and data products work in practice, with experience integrating analytical insights into operational workflows - Ability to quickly become technically fluent in data models and entities powering planning and scheduling systems - Track record of shipping high-quality features in complex, workflow-heavy enterprise environments - Collaborative, direct, and effective at building cross-functional alignment - Experience in transportation, transit, logistics, or resource-intensive industries is a plus; ability to learn a technical domain quickly is essential
