Apono is building the future of secure cloud access by enabling organizations to adopt just-in-time, least-privilege access across their cloud environments. The platform empowers engineering and security teams to balance productivity with compliance through identity-aware, policy-driven access at scale.
You will own one of Apono's core product domains with its own cross-functional squad, setting direction and shipping continuously. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of security, DevOps, and AI, with genuine ownership from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own a product domain end-to-end: set vision, strategy, and roadmap; lead a cross-functional squad that ships and iterates continuously
- Set the direction for how AI shows up in your domain: identify where it creates real customer value, establish quality and trust standards, and sharpen your own craft
- Decide what gets built and execute: prioritize from customer feedback, data, and market input; turn insights into clear requirements, sequenced backlogs, and engineering trade-offs that maintain sprint velocity
- Partner closely with Product Design to turn complex challenges into intuitive experiences that drive adoption
- Meet enterprise-grade security and compliance standards without slowing developers down
- Define success metrics and use product analytics to measure impact, adoption, and customer value
- Take your product to market: coordinate launches with customer success and marketing, drive adoption, and evangelize internally and externally
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, building technical products for technical users (developers, DevOps, IT, or security), including at least one startup
- Hands-on experience shipping AI-powered capabilities and genuine curiosity about where the technology is heading and what it changes about product development
- Data-driven approach: define success metrics, work with product analytics, and maintain regular direct contact with users and design
- Strong technical foundation: comfortable with cloud environments, APIs, and modern SaaS architectures; able to engage meaningfully in design discussions with engineers
- Bias for shipping: continuous, incremental delivery alongside developers in Agile teams; comfort cutting scope to maintain momentum
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence without direct authority
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Advantage: background in security, identity and access management, cloud infrastructure, DevOps tooling, or enterprise compliance
