Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced AI, autonomy, and sensor fusion. The Maritime Digital Production (MDP) team builds the software and digital systems powering Anduril's shipbuilding factories—from real-time data infrastructure to manufacturing execution systems (ArsenalOS) to AI-driven scheduling and operations optimization. As Senior Product Manager for Applied Intelligence, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for AI-powered applications that transform manufacturing operations. You will develop and deploy ML pipelines for factory sensing, document processing, and drawing conversion, and build RAG-enabled tools and agentic AI workflows that eliminate manual work from business operations. You will work directly with operators, engineers, and business teams to ensure AI solutions earn their place in daily workflows. Key responsibilities include: **Product Strategy**: Develop a 6–12 month vision and roadmap for AI in manufacturing. Balance breakthrough AI capabilities with operational constraints. Engage stakeholders across ML engineering, data engineering, manufacturing, and business operations to synthesize needs and make critical decisions. **Prioritization & Execution**: Work backward from strategy to set clear outcomes. Prioritize AI use cases by operational impact, technical feasibility, and data readiness. Support rapid experimentation and iteration; adapt goals when model performance, user feedback, or constraints require pivots. **Problem Discovery**: Spend time on the factory floor observing real workflows. Talk directly with technicians, quality inspectors, document processors, and operators. Identify where AI adds genuine value versus simpler automation. Capture workflows, understand failure modes, and translate them into well-scoped AI requirements with clear success hypotheses and model performance targets. **Deployment & Adoption**: Own the end-to-end journey from data collection to model deployment to user adoption. Communicate model capabilities and limitations with humility. Set a high bar for how AI products are deployed, monitored, validated, and supported in production. MDP is scaling from a founding team to 70+ engineers across multiple U.S. sites. You will join early, work on hard problems with real operational stakes, and shape how manufacturing software is built at Anduril from the ground up. This is a strategic investment in digitizing the manufacturing lifecycle end-to-end—the output of your work is not a dashboard, but a ship.
