Orbital is an AI-powered platform transforming commercial real estate transactions through intelligent due diligence automation. The company recently raised $60M in Series B funding and is expanding across UK and US markets. As Senior Product Engineer for Enterprise Readiness & Security, you will own the enterprise trust and security surface as a living product—including trust centre, DDQ responses, security documentation, architecture diagrams, and compliance artifacts. Your role bridges technical depth with commercial clarity, translating complex security architecture into language that procurement, legal, and IT teams can act on without overstating product capabilities. Key responsibilities include: - Owning enterprise trust and security as a core product surface, ensuring all documentation (trust centre, DDQs, security one-pagers, architecture diagrams) is current and deal-ready from day one - Translating technical security answers into actionable language for non-technical stakeholders - Hands-on architecture work: data residency, BYOK and key management, multi-tenancy, SSO/SCIM, audit/retention, subprocessor management, and SOC 2/ISO posture - Owning AI-specific trust concerns: data retention scope, no-training guarantees, model inventory, and audit controls for AI agents - Shipping enterprise-readiness features: admin controls, audit logging, retention/purge tooling, regional hosting, connector permissions - Converting one-off security questionnaires into reusable, scalable assets - Working directly with sales, customer success, legal, and external infosec partners to unblock enterprise deals - Owning enterprise readiness across new business and existing customer bases You are a hands-on builder with shipped product features (not just documentation). You have real enterprise security conversation experience—ideally having sat opposite customer IT/security teams during live deals or owned security blockers to resolution. You have working fluency in data residency, encryption/key management, SSO, audit/retention, and security certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001). You have a genuine perspective on how AI agents change security and trust, ideally backed by hands-on AI/agent tooling experience. B2B software experience selling to large organizations is essential; regulated industry experience (legal, finance, insurance) is a plus. You have a track record of turning one-off problems into reusable systems rather than repeated manual fixes. You operate comfortably with autonomy and without direct authority over dependencies.
